Our background is classical postproduction and digital FX. In the course of our work we have found that special shots need to be thoroughly planned and require unique camera rigs or customized equipment specific to each shot. Today a combination of real film footage supported with special equipment like e.g. rigs specific to that shot makes life and work much easier for the FX specialist. Such a holistic approach also leads to better end results with less postproduction overhead required.
We therefore not only offer rental of standard or of customized rigs but we can also take over the responsibility for the entire process: planning the shot including classical story-board drawing and 3D animatics, looking at different solutions for implementation, building of new or customizing of existing equipment, FX supervision and technical assistance on set, implementation of CGI/FX elements, and finishing in one of our suites in collaboration with the client. This holistic approach reduces the production pipeline risk for the client.
